Affordable Auto Repair

During that same time, he put his college education with computers to use at Hewlett Packard, an experience that has given him an edge in understanding newer cars that are so dependent on computer technology. Between his racing and computer experiences, as well as his commitment to ongoing education and 15-year ASE Master Technician certifications, Warren has a depth of knowledge about automobiles that is hard to match.

Donna McCord has been working in the automotive industry with Warren since 2002. Before that, she worked as a marketing communications manager in the high tech industry for more than 10 years, and then as a direct marketing consultant for 5 years. After purchasing Dean's Automotive, Inc., she and Warren decided that both her marketing and management experience would be an asset to the company. She also enjoys working as the resident bookkeeper, Human Resources department, and customer service champion. Donna emphasizes, "Owning a small business, especially in automotive repair, is a huge challenge. There are many car owners who have a negative perception about our industry, and we are passionate about improving that perception." She continues, "We are committed to providing excellent automotive and customer care, a large part of which includes educating our customers about what it takes to keep their vehicles reliable and as safe as possible. It also includes employing only the very best technicians and service advisors, and providing them with ongoing training as long as they work with us."

Warren McCord opened business as Warren McCord Motorsports in 1979. During the last 24 years, Warren has earned a reputation for excellence with both his customers and his peers in the automotive industry. His professionalism, knowledge and experience puts him in the top tier of independent auto repair shop owners.

In January of 2003, Warren saw the opportunity to grow when Dean’s Foreign Car, a Mountain View establishment since 1963, came on the market for sale. In partnership with his wife, Donna, Warren merged McCord Motorsports with Dean’s Foreign Car, under the new business name of Dean’s Automotive, Inc.

Warren’s love for cars began as a teenager when he worked on cars with his dad and older brother. This eventually led to his involvement with racing Formula Ford, Formula Atlantic, and Formula Continental in the SCCA racing circuit from 1975 to 1991, where he won many 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies.

Warren is available to answer any questions you may have about your repairs or services. They look forward to meeting you and providing you with the best possible customer service.
