Born in Woodstock, Illinois, George has always loved working with people. His first professional career was as a Chef. Recognized at the age of 18 for his talents, George landed a coveted position in the kitchen of the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco — at the time one of the top 5 hotels in the world. Developing an allergy to cleaning solutions in the kitchen, George had to seek another career. He had grown up around cars and enjoyed restoring Model A’s with his father in their garage at home, so it became natural for him to seek a career in the automotive repair industry.
After 18 years of working in major auto dealerships, he saw an online ad for a position at Dean’s Automotive. According to George, the title of the ad “We are Looking for Someone Our Customers Will Love” motivated him to apply, and he has been with Dean’s ever since.
George is also a dedicated family man and enjoys the outdoors, camping, boating and hiking with his wife and 4 kids. He is also passionate about coaching youth sports, as well as following all types of sports activities.
