MOUNTAIN VIEW AUTO REPAIR

I recently moved to Mountain View and needed an oil change in a used VW Passat I had bought (highlighted by the oil light coming on!). I spoke to George at Dean's Auto (at around 3 pm) who offered to take a look at the car the same day and fitted me in for the oil service the very next morning. My wife took the car and was really impressed with the service they offered. The price was very reasonable and they even gave the car a multi-point check to reassure us that everything was in order. In summary we were totally impressed with the speed, quality and value of Dean's Automotive. Many thanks to George and the team there - we will definitely be using your garage for any future auto needs we may have!

As always, promptly fixed what needed to be repaired and advised me on what didn't need to be done yet. I always appreciate this.

The repairs to my car were done thoroughly and methodically, and items that could not be evaluated initially were addressed as soon as they appeared. I was keptinformaed throughout the process. Dean's was very accommodating to the insurance inspector and saw to it that my car was repaired promptly, and then delivered to the body shop for additional work.

Took the car in for a check for some some noise. Turns out needed new idler and new driver belt tensioner. Fixed the next days after parts ordered and was on my way ...w/ the 10% AAA discount.

We wanted to see what, if anything, had gone wrong in the 3 years we've woefully neglected our car. Giving us a clean bill of health (except for a worn tire that you recommended fixing elsewhere) took some integrity. I appreciate that!

I usually perform all of my own repairs and just completed a major refresh of my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. However, I work full time (60 hours/week), travel frequently for business and also manage a professional services consulting business. My wife convinced me to look for a repair shop to accomplish required maintenance and repair. I found Dean's on Angie's list. I was very impressed with the speed of the repair (1 day in and out), attention to detail and the follow-up. They made sure that my drive-shaft was rapidly repaired and even called me to convince me to replace the existing lube-able joints with non-zerked models. Additionally, the office experience was very pleasant. During the discussions with them on the next maintenance plan, they thoughtfully reviewed my suggestions and made sure to suggest that not everything I requested as part of the normal maintenance required would be necessary. I plan to have them perform some required maintenance on our Xterra and heartily recommend them.

We had a really good experience, and we look forward to returning to have both of our cars services regularly. Thanks!
