The folks at Dean's put in the extra effort and go the extra mile to analyze a problem and provide just the right solution. We had suspension issues and a number of symptoms that easily could have indicated a couple of thousands of dollars of repairs. They diagnosed the situation and isolated the cure to a front brake job for a few hundred dollars--no more problems. Nothing is more important than trust when having your car serviced ... and you can trust Dean's.

After looking online, and calling the major parts retailers, to find out I was charged double the average price for the replacement parts, I'm a little pissed off. Prior to beginning the repairs, I was informed of a problem I was unaware of, an act I thought was very professional, and then given an estimate for the cost of the additional repair. I was told the job was "very" labor intensive. HA! I finally located a Haynes repair manual, and found out how simple the job actually was. So much for my assessment of professionalism. The shop replaced parts that didn't need replacing(tie rods, tie rod ends) the bushings needed replacing, along with the steering rack, but in my opinion that was all. A job that should have cost $200 in parts, and $400-$600 in labor, came to a wallet heist total of $1,503. Would I recommend them to someone? If you're going out egging on Halloween, then by all means drop in, or by for a minute, otherwise stay away.

Tom, we are very sorry that you left our shop with feelings of mistrust and thinking that we had somehow treated you unfairly. Our first priority is always doing what we believe is best for our customers -- fixing the vehicle correctly at a fair price and with a clear conscience backed by our 24 mo/24,000 mile warranty. We always use OEM or better quality parts that are new and will stand up to our warranty. We do that by buying from local and reputable parts suppliers whose prices may be higher than what you will find online, but insures that we are getting right parts, quality parts, and receiving them as quickly as possible. We also do whatever we can to make sure our customers' cars leave here fixed correctly, which especially when a vehicle comes to us severely damaged, may require more than what is stated in the generic guidelines of a manual.
